Individual therapy may feel like a luxury, a necessity or a lifeline. It is a a time and place for you to work on things that are bothering you, or things you want to change. You may be very clear about what you want help with, or you may have no idea what the thing is you need help with, but only that you feel pretty terrible and want to feel better. We will work together to identify the landscape of what is troubling you and then decide together, the best path forward. Individual therapy should feel supportive and emotionally safe, and it should also help you to challenge some of the old patterns that no longer serve you, while helping you create new, healthier ways of seeing and interacting with yourself and your world.
